Hi, I'm Sidney Minassian, Founder & CEO of GrowthQ
GrowthQ is a Silicon Valley based consultancy helping startups launch, monetize and grow.
Prior to GrowthQ I founded and launched 3 tech companies. I have a bunch of scars from launching new products, securing beta customers, marketing and sales - including securing the very first sale, then growing sales. My first company was self funded, also known as funding via lots of credit cards, I raised angel funding for my second company and for the third I secured venture capital.
Originally from Australia, I moved my business and young family to Silicon Valley USA in 2008, as I was committed to giving my startup the best possible opportunity for success.
My last startup Liaise, was launched at DEMO Fall'09 where we won best of show - the People's Choice Award + Million Dollar IDG prize. I gave the winning pitch and ran a tight launch, marketing and public relations (PR) campaign, generating lots of buzz, getting great coverage by press and analysts and securing beta users worldwide.
I conducted detailed Customer Development work before and after launching Liaise and have become an evangelist and practitioner of Steve Blank's methodologies.
In 2011 I founded GrowthQ as a platform for helping startups launch, monetize and grow. I lead the charge on all our engagements and where required I call on my large network of trusted specialists whom I have previously worked with.
